A Most Important Man

There are just a few world leaders today that I
consider crucial to the outcome of world affairs. Certainly, the policies and actions of President Bush or, to a lesser degree, Prime Minist er Tony Blair affect untold millions around the world; Vladimir Putin of Russia and Chinese President Hu Jintao are also pivotal players in the unfolding of world events. These individuals, by virtue of their positions of influence alone, are in obvious need of faithful and visionary intercession.

Yet, in my opinion, there is another man whose role is more crucial than all. That man is Pervez Musharraf, president of Pakistan.
